CSIP works with and is funded by the Department of Health. Throughout 07/08, CSIP is working more closely with key regional delivery partners, including its regional Department of Health colleagues in public health, to achieve its aim of improving services and outcomes for children and families, adults and older people, including those with mental health problems, physical or learning disabilities and people in the criminal justice system. The Department of Health is currently reviewing how it operates in the regions, to ensure it is best placed to support its partners meet the future challenging facing health and social care.
